In order to test the effectiveness ofthis drug aone year study was done were at the beginning of the year threegroups of eightindividuals were given either Flu Shot 1 Flu Shot 2 or a placebo(a shot withonly saline and no vaccine). The number of sick days from work eachindividualtook was carefully recorded over the following year. Both flu shotswere foundto be completely safe with no side effects but differed in termsofeffectiveness. The data below gives the number of sick days for theindividualsin each of the three groups.
