Course Description: Building upon the understanding of ministry in the postmodern context the class introduces the student to Narrative (story-based) Research a qualitative practical ministry research approach that holds together relevant research methodologies and tools that students may choose to employ in their Doctor of Ministry projects. Students engage in starting to formulate their D.Min. projects using their ministerial context. By starting to reflect on narratives of concern and beginning to frame the project theologically students begin to conceptualize the components of the project and lay the methodological foundations in anticipation of the Project Colloquium in the fall.
