Extra Credit Question: A wooden block rests on a frictionless plane as shown in the following diagram. The rope attached to the block is parallel to the plane. Answer the following questions. Show all your work for full credit. (a) Draw a free body diagram for the block showing all the forces acting on it. (b) Find the tension of the rope. (c) Initially the block is 1.2m above the base of the inclined plane. Then the rope is untied and the block starts moving down the slope. Find the speed of the block when it reaches the bottom.
