Five Dimensions of Western Countries. There arefive characteristics that Western countries share: democraticvalues Christianity Enlightenment beliefs a common Europeanheritage and advanced development. Both Russia and countries inEastern Europe share characteristics of Western and non-Westernregions but do not fit in either group.
