Coursework Task:
Select Research and Analyze a company listed either in the Dubai or Abu Dhabi Stock exchanges.
The 2 companies have already been selected which are:
Dubai Development Company
Union Properties
A copy of annual report of each of the above 2 companies is attached.
Guidelines:
Choose a company (Already has been selected which are Dubai Development Company and Union Properties) and collect financial information (Balance Sheets and Income Statements) of the company for 1 year. Then calculate the different sets of ratios of this 2 companies for 1 year and to put it in an excel sheet. Then find the ratios of a similar company (same industry and total sales) . Then do both an industry comparison and a trend analysis. Based on this analysis write a report on the performance of the companies.
It must be presented as a Management Report of around 1000 words in length in typed format and structured as follows:
Title Page
Contents Page
Executive Summary
Aims and Objectives of the Report
Introduction to the company
Ratio Analyses
Conclusions.
