In unit 4 we learned about terrorism and cyber-terrorism.Cyber-terrorism occurs when as unlawful attacks and threats againstcomputers networks and the information stored it an attempt tointimidate or coerce a government or its people in furtherance ofpolitical and social objectives (Muraski 2013). Im sure everyonehas heard about North Korea hacking Sony Pictures and threateningthem to not release a movie called The Interview or else theywould launch similar attacks against the U.S. like the attacks thatoccurred on 9/11 (Bender 2014). Not only did the cyber-terroristshack into Sony and steal information they took it a step furtherand threatened terrorist attacks. When we were learning aboutterrorism in unit 4 my mind kept making connections to the Sonyhack. What I find most interesting is how cyberspace has now becomeanother avenue for countries to go to war.
