Lets start this discussion by sharing publicobservations. Spend time either walking around or sitting andwatching people in a very busy public place. Look for things thatyou associate with people from race/ethnic cultural gender andsocial-class backgrounds that are different from your own. Look forthe kinds of common interactions or behaviors between differentgroups and those like your own. For example do they acknowledgethe others presence if eye contact happens to occur? Do anybehaviors change in the presence of other groups?
