My analyze of Mr. Zores power stems from the Figure depicted on12.2 page 286 of the text. It is listed here that there arethree dimensions of managerial power and influence. Withinthese three dimensions a manager can influence other members of theorganization from laterally upwards and down using the power theyhave earned or have been given. Going upwards to higher levelsuperiors the influence is based on personal power downwardstowards subordinates it is based on position and personal power andlaterally towards peers and outsiders the influence is based onpersonal power.
