National Security Presidential Directive-47/Homeland SecurityPresidential Directive-16 (NSPD-47/HSPD-16) of June 20 2006(Aviation Security Policy) details a strategic vision for aviationsecurity while recognizing ongoing efforts and directs theproduction of a National Strategy for Aviation Security andsupporting plans.
