Nietzsche notes that Philosophy has sought to set Absolute Truth in the permanent and unchanging realm of Being. Nietzsches thought is an attempt to point out the problems with this project if not to overthrow it entirely. What are some of the reasons Nietzsche provides to support his position that the project of philosophy is flawed (Preface to Aphorism 5)? Moreover if the project of philosophy is fundamentally flawed then what according to Nietzsche might underlie or motivate the quest for Absolute Truth?
