The article I chose is Jobbed by Phillip Levine. The type of introduction used in this paper was to tell a story sharing a personal life experience with his audience. He shares a story about his brother being in the Air force working for an automotive parts manufacture his home life and his high school years. The impact of this introduction was good because he began referencing his background which lead the rest of the paper to his conclusion. The introduction I believe had everything it needed to meet typical standards of an introduction paragraph it had the thesis the purpose of the main background and it introduced the main point of the paper. I believe this was a good story!Did you feel drawn in to the story by the introduction?
