The company i work for is a state wide bar association forplaintiffs attorneys. We have spent a good amount of timevolunteering for different charitys. This year we chose to held acharity called Birthday Wishes. Birthday Wishes throws birthdayparties or little kids who are in social care who wouldnt have abirthday other wise. We spent a few days with volunteers from ourmembership creating the birthday boxes they needed with toys cakemix and birthday decorations. We also hold a Holiday Ball everyyear which is a black tie event. At the event we collect Toys forTots and give a portion of our proceeds to a local organization. Wealso volunteers our Young Lawyers Committee to spend time at theCradles to Crayons Charity sorting toys clothes and shoes forchildren in need. I think this follows the Utilitarian because ithelps all those it touches it is for the good of allinvolved.
