There is a certain amount of risk involved in doing business anywhere internationally. Chose a country and discuss the following:
1What are the political cultural environmental economic and trade risks present when doing business in the country as an outsider?
2What type of business would you do there in light of the risks?
3For example would it be labor or capital intensive?
4Would it be a manufacturing or distribution center etc.?
5Would it be a representative office or a full-fledged operation?
6Why should you as a manager be concerned with all this?

Research a multinational corporation. Then answer the following questions:
1How do the changing technology and the falling barriers to trade and investment reflect the success of this company?
2How does the company show corporate social responsibility in terms of labor conditions human rights fair trade and the environment?
3What actions can a multinational corporation take that would make globalization a positive development for the global economy?
