You have probably noticed there are many disorder that havesimilar and/or overlapping symptoms. Making a differentialdiagnosis requires that you rule out competing diagnoses that arevery similar. Often times Anorexia and Bulimia can be confusedparticularly when you consider there are subtypes of Anorexia. Howwould you differentiate between Bulimia and the different subtypesof Anorexia? If you were interviewing the patient what questionswould you want to be sure to ask?
