I completely agree which is why Ihave high standards for all of my students not just forintegritys sake but for the individuals sake as well. Whowants to graduate knowing they just skated by because they couldbuy their degree? Whats the point in that? Morealarming is this quote I found: Lambert Hogan and Barton(2003) write Since previous studies have indicated that academicdishonesty occurs across majors students who will eventually beentrusted with life sustaining decisions (i.e. physicians policeofficers) may not be as prepared as society expects(conclusion). I dont know about you but this statementfrightens me. What brings an individual to deceitful academicpractices?
