Your thoughts? A lot of network administrators do a greatjob of protecting outside intruders. However it is the internalissues one must be aware of well. This is where strong processes inplace are critical and the policies are followed. Anexample: I remember at Space Command Air Force Base when aperson brought in his personal memory stick of a work document hewas working on at home. Basically he introduced a virus into thenetwork when he loaded it on his computer and then emailed theattachment to his boss inside the closed local area network. As aresult no outside material (such as memory sticks) can be usedinside the computer network. So here is an example of lots ofprotection from outside intrusions such as outside emailattachments when the problem was causedinternally.
